Knowing the monthly events calendar and promoting in-store events to customers. Assisting with the development and training of the store team. Knowing the basic store layout and be able to answer general customer questions about entire store. Assisting in maintaining stock levels and building and maintaining merchandising displays. Helping to train Customer Service Representatives in procedures. Role model the company standards in customer service and operations. Assisting the managers with specific non-supervisory responsibilities. Communicating effectively with co-workers and supervisors. Supporting and encouraging teamwork within entire store staff and within district stores. Knowing and following all loss prevention procedures. Helping maintain a clean, safe and organized store. Following all company policies, procedures and assignments. Performing other duties as may be assigned from time to time. AND YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS: Previous retail experience Knowledge and love of books. Ability to deliver the Indigo customer service commitment. Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills Available for shift-work. May require heavy lifting and repetitive bending. Natural sales ability, desire to learn and succeed.
